Joel has a passion to apply his analytical skills to a profession that has a lasting impact on his community. He began his career in the financial services industry in 2009, previously he worked 7 years as an actuary for Wausau Insurance and Allianz Life in Minneapolis, plus 2 years as a pension administrator in South Bend, Indiana. Joel graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota with a Mathematics Major and a Physics Minor. Originally from the Twin Cities, he moved to Central Wisconsin in 2005 with his wife, a Wausau West graduate. Together they love and care for 2 children.
